Twitter threads (yep, people associate to their IG from there every the time)

LinkedIn profiles (especially if they use their real state upon IG)

If youve got admission to their profile pic, screenshot it. Upload it to a reverse image tool bearing in mind Google Images or TinEye. Sometimes people use the thesame photo across platforms. If that pic shows happening on their Facebook (and their FB isn’t private?), jackpot.
Bonus: It may lead you to an alternate public IG account. People often keep a public ”brand” profile and a private personal one. You just gotta be close to the dots.

Youd be surprised how many private accounts forget just about their tagged pics. Here’s the thing: even if someones profile is locked, the photos theyre tagged in from public accounts are visible.
Go to one of their connections who tags them often. If that friends account is public, boom scroll through their posts and check out whos in the photos. You might catch a collect visual history.

Sometimes you get fortunate and look snippets of antiquated bios, highlights, or even photos.
Or use Archive.orgs Wayback Machine. It doesnt always work, but if the profile had public moments, it mightve been crawled.
- Psychological Trickery (Yeah, This Ones Weird)
Lets call this… mirror engagement.
You make a public profile. You read out content that mirrors the person youre keen in: thesame interests, same vibes. You tag locations theyve tagged, use the same type of aesthetic.
If they stumble on your profile through mutuals or hashtags they may follow you first.
I tested this like (purely for science, of course). Took 3 weeks, 12 posts, and 4 shared hashtags. But it worked. They followed first. I didnt even send a request.
Final Thoughts: Is It essentially Worth It?
Heres the kicker. Sure, there are ways to browse locked IG accounts without requesting access, but lets not ignore the ethical side. Just cause something can be the end doesnt always want it should.
